Direct connection to 5V TTL-level microcontrollers will inject excessive voltage, which can easily damage or destroy the internal ST77916 driver chip of the Round Screen module. If you must interface with a 5V microcontroller, you are required to connect bidirectional level shifter ICs in series on the SPI signal lines (such as SCL, SDA, CS) to safely convert 5V logic down to 3.3V levels.
