Designed by HOTHMI, model TFT-H043B32WVIST3C45 is a 4.3-inch TFT LCD display module. It features a resolution of 480(H) x 800(V) and adopts a normally black full-viewing-angle panel. The NTSC color gamut reaches 60%, and the screen brightness is 350 ± 100 cd/m². This RGB LCD module integrates the ST7701S LCD driver chip and the GT911 capacitive touch chip (CTP). The cover glass is treated with anti-glare (AG) and anti-fingerprint (AF) coatings, supporting 24-bit RGB and IIC interfaces. Its typical operating voltage is 3.3V, with a backlight driving condition of 16.0V/40mA.
The operating temperature range is -20°C to +70°C,the storage temperature range is -30℃ to +80℃, and the overall thickness is controlled at 4.20 ± 0.3mm, making it suitable for smart hardware terminals requiring high-definition display and touch interaction.

Technical Q&A of the RGB LCD
Q1: What is the difference between an RGB LCD controlled by the ST7701S driver and a standard non-initialization RGB LCD?
A1: A standard “bare” RGB LCD requires no initialization and can be lit as soon as the main controller sends out an RGB signal. The ST7701S, however, is a smart driver chip with configuration registers. For this module to work, the main controller must first send a specific set of initialization codes (including pin scan direction, gamma correction, and operating voltage) to the screen’s internal registers via the 3-wire SPI interface (Pins 10/11/12). Only then can the LCD properly receive and decode the 24-bit RGB image signal.
Q2: What are AG and AF coatings, and what commercial value do they bring to the product?
A2: AG stands for anti-glare. This process micro-textures the cover glass surface, converting strong specular reflections into diffused reflections, ensuring the device remains clearly readable under direct outdoor sunlight or indoor spotlights. AF stands for anti-fingerprint. Using biomimetic principles, a hydrophobic and oleophobic nano-coating is applied to the surface, making it difficult for fingerprints and sweat to adhere. Even if they do, they can be wiped away easily. The combination of these two coatings significantly enhances the overall perceived quality and user experience of the final end product.
